Intensive Moscow's Strikes Cut Power Throughout Kyiv

Power facilities targeted in the region
Ukraine's energy systems have come under increased attacks in recent weeks

During the night, Russian missile and drone strikes have resulted in electricity outages in multiple districts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Nine people were injured while residents in eastern districts were left without electricity and dealt with disruption to water supplies, according to local authorities.

At the same time, a young boy was fatally injured in a separate Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, according to area administrators.

Russian forces has intensified assaults on energy facilities over recent weeks, while officials has demanded "concrete actions" from partner nations to increase pressure on Moscow.

"What is required is not superficial actions but strong steps - from the United States, the EU and the major economies - in providing air defence systems and applying restrictions," mentioned in a public message.

Authorities reported that numerous aerial vehicles and over thirty rockets attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such assaults as "cynical and calculated" and against "essential services" as the weather cools.

The energy minister said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and maintenance teams were working to fix the damage.

A series of attacks damaged energy infrastructure and residential structures in the capital.

Multiple people injured in the assaults on the capital have been hospitalized, according to city authorities.

Local officials said the urban area came under intense attacks during nighttime hours. A minor lost their life and several individuals were hurt.

The strikes come after evenings of aerial attacks in the region, parts of which are currently controlled by invading troops.

The whole nation is in a state of readiness for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are harder to spot.

Government officials told journalists that Moscow was purposely seeking to destroy the electrical infrastructure, with attacks already affecting gas facilities.

Authorities confirmed energy workers and officials were preparing for additional strikes.
